Action Plan

Target Problem: Need to improve level of education offered to refugees at the FACLC school.

Target Group: Students in Grade 7

Project Title: Found Africa Children Learning Centre (FACLC)

Obstacles:

• The students occasionally become distracted
• Language barrier when teaching maths
• Lack of understanding as a result of prior teaching methods

Tasks:

• Use activities that engage the students
• Use simple English that is understood as well as symbols and diagrams whilst teaching maths
• Teach in a manner that has a large focus on understanding opposed to just attainment
