The lack of medical care and attention given to the poorer population in Egypt. Medical care is expensive and for that reason many people are not provided with sufficient medical attention.

The poorer, low class Egyptian population, who cannot afford formal medical care.

Goals
Smart Goal 1:
Informing people about the project to gain more volunteers to help out at the clinic each weekend; provide the clinic with a steady and continuous flow of outside help every weekend for a the year.
Smart Goal 2:
Begin to work with patients in the medical examining room alongside the nurses, doing standard procedures so that they can focus on more severe cases and see more people in a day
Smart Goal 3:
Organize a fund raiser once every two months to raise a large sum of money each time for the clinic to use to buy equipment and medicine.
Obstacles
·Most people are not willing to wake up early on the weekend to do service
·The many hours of monotonous labor is not appealing to most students
·Conflicting schedules of volunteers
·Small working space
·Inability to look at blood makes it difficult to work with nurses
·Lack of training and experience in first aid
·Minimal experience in organizing charity events
Tasks:
·Go to the clinic every Saturday to do back stage work
oUnwrapping and packing gauze rolls
oFolding gauze
oCutting eye patches
oAssembling droppers
oMaking pill envelopes
oScrewing bottles
·Raise awareness about our project by explaining it to friends and asking them to come volunteer once
·Establish a schedule and organize the weekends and volunteers
·Speak to the sisters of materials they need and money requirements
·Develop fund raising idea plans, including structure and required tasks in order to start immediately next year
·Stand in the medical examining room more and more each time
·Speak to the nurses about basic first aid and standard procedures
